Accompanied Shopping

Many of our clients love taking consumers shopping – seeing which products get their attention and why, any interesting promotional materials in-store like pop-ups, product labeling, or attention grabbing gondolas.

We usually conduct these with a bilingual moderator who walks around the store with the shopper and asks what grabs their attention, what type of product information they are looking for to make purchase decisions, and ultimately trying to understand what factors influenced their product decision. We start the shopping journey outside the store letting the respondents walk past any in-store advertising along the way – which can often be found all throughout the store including coming up escalators.

After the in-store experience we then take respondents to a nearby café or quiet location where we sit down and interview the respondent going over the same questions as above sitting together with the client.
